Introduction: Chronic pain has been extensively studied due to being a public health concern. Pain education is part of the treatment and can be conducted by healthcare professionals using different educational resources, such as booklets and manuals. Objective: To describe the process of developing an educational booklet on pain education and management for professional practice and health promotion. Method: This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, on the development of an educational material that underwent the following methodological processes: 1) Literature review; 2) Booklet development; 3) Delivery. Results: The final product is the booklet entitled: "Booklet on Education and Management of Chronic Pain." The content of the material is organized into nine pages, featuring explanations with short texts and illustrative images. Discussion: The development of the material reinforced the importance of pain neuroscience education, which has proven effective in promoting cognitive and behavioral changes in people with persistent pain. Conclusion: The booklet offers healthcare professionals a pedagogical resource that can be incorporated into different care and rehabilitation contexts.
