Nursing role in the management of patients with chest pain across different levels of health care

The aim os this study was to analyse the nurse’s role in caring for patientes with chest pain at different levels os healthcare. This is an integrative review. The search was conducted using DeCS/MeSH Terms, as well as their English and Spanish versions, depending on the platform consulted. Publications were searched in journals indexed in LILACS, The CAPES journals Portal, SciELO, BVS, and MEDLINE/PUBMED. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the final sample consisted of 20 publications. Based on the results, threes thematics were identified and grouped after analysis: optimization of nursing proccess in emergency care, the role of nursing in early assessment; and holistic care and rehabilitation. Future studies are suggested to explore the role of nursing in primaru care of patientes with chest pain, aiming to promote comprehensive health care.
